The hybrid nail is a very cool idea. While it works I went ahead and got a normal banger to use. The problem with the hybrid is the flat nail doesn’t make very good contact to the quartz dish. It gives a fairly uneven heat distribution this way. Also I had 4 dishes and am down to two. Imperfections in the dish make them site a little off center so when you screw down the cap sometimes it will crack the quartz tray. I think the banger design is much better where the bottom of the banger is cupped by the nail so the entire bottom area is heated more evenly. Only bummer is having to buy a new nail and banger but at least there was the 710 discount, and you all are very nice to work with customer service wise.
