Core Components of every eNail

eNail Control Box

Control Box

We have two control box options: Classic & Mini. Each has a digital display and is compatible with all Yo Dabba Dabba coils. The Mini is smaller than the Classic, has an auto shut-off feature, and can reach the set temperature in half the time. You can set the temperature of the Classic in single digits, while the Mini is set in increments of 5 degrees.

eNail Coil

Coil

Available in 16mm, 20mm, 25mm, 30mm, and Flat. Coils require use with a compatible nail for proper function. Compatibility is based on the diameter and style of the nail. For example, 16mm coils are designed for use with 16mm nails.

Nail

The best nail for your eNail set up depends on your preference and your coil size. Learn more about the different types of nails below.

Types of Nails

6 in 1 Titanium eNail

6 in 1 Titanium Nail

Made from Grade 2 Titanium, this nail is super durable. We offer two variations for 16mm and 20mm coils. This nail’s design allows it to fit 10mm, 14mm, and 19mm rigs, both male and female.

Hybrid Ti Nail with Quartz Dish

Hybrid Ti Nail with Quartz Dish

The best of both worlds, a hybrid nail combines the benefits of a titanium and quartz nail. The dual-jointed, 6-in-1 design allows it to fit 10mm, 14mm, and 19mm rigs, both male and female. You need a flat coil for this nail.

25mm eNail Banger

25mm Quartz eBanger

This quartz banger is designed with R-Clip compatibility, meaning it has an arm built into the bottom of the bucket to hold the 25mm R-Clip coil in place. Quartz brings out the true taste of terpene profiles in your concentrates and is preferred by most dabbers.

Quartz eBanger

Our standard quartz eBangers are available for use with either the 16mm or  20mm coils. Both sizes have an arm on the side of the neck to support the coil. They are available with either a 45° or 90° neck, in every joint size.

Compatibility Warning:

Not all coils are compatible. Use with a non-compatible coil may result in permanent damage to the control box, personal injury, or fire hazard. Verify the PIN layout is compatible before using it with other brands.
The Yo Dabba Dabba PIN Layout is:  1AC+ 2AC- 3TC+ 4TC- 5GROUND

Assembling Your eNail

CAUTION: This unit is a fire hazard, please operate with extreme caution. The coil is capable of reaching upwards of 1,000℉ and can cause serious injury and burns, or permanently damage property.

Using Your Enail

eNail Temperature Guide

Before you get started, take some time to familiarize yourself with different temperatures and their pros and cons. If the temperature is set too low, your concentrates can end up puddling instead of vaporizing. Set the electric nail too high and you run the risk of burning up terpenes and leaving a harsh taste in your mouth.

We recommend a temperature somewhere in the middle, but it truly depends on preference, and the tools and accessories in use. You should reduce the temperature as much as possible to preserve maximum quality of the concentrate, while still ensuring effective and complete vaporization. Low-temperature dabs optimally occur between 600 and 710°F, and you can find the best eNail temp for you with a bit of trial and error.

Dabbing at low-temperatures is beneficial for a variety of reasons. Aside from enhancing the flavor of the concentrate by not burning away the terpenes, low-temperature dabbing preserves every part of the oil — including the THC, meaning each hit will be powerful and savory. Use a carb cap when experimenting with low-temperature dabs to enhance your dab and get the most out of every hit.

Learn more about about optimizing your eNail temperature in our eNail Temperature Guide.

eNail Dabs
Low Temperature Dabs 500 – 650 °F
Medium Temperature Dabs 650 – 850 °F
High Temperature Dabs 850+ °F

How to Clean your eNail

Choose your style below to view cleaning instructions specific to your eNail.

How to Clean a Titanium eNail

Like a cast-iron skillet, titanium nails should be “seasoned” before their first use. For this, you’ll need a glass of water, a butane torch, and some pliers or tweezers.

Hold the titanium nail with the pliers or tweezers. Heat the head of the nail with the butane torch until it is glowing red. Dunk the nail into the glass of water. Repeat the process a few times.

After your nail is seasoned and ready, regular maintenance will help keep it like new. You can keep it clean the same way you seasoned it, or opt for the torch or iso-rub method. The easiest way to keep your titanium nail clean is to re-heat it with the torch after each use. This helps to burn away any residuals. Another way is to soak the room-temperature nail is a glass or bowl of isopropyl alcohol for 10 minutes or more before wiping it clean.

How to Clean a Quartz eBanger

You have two options when it comes to deep-cleaning a quartz banger. Soak it in iso for a minimum of 10 minutes before wiping it clean, or heat clean it with a torch, rotating the flame around the banger until any residual waste disappears.

How to Clean a Hybrid eNail

Hybrid nails are super easy to clean because the quartz dish is removable. Simply unscrew it from the nail and soak it in iso for a brand-new look. Clean the titanium nail with one of the methods we mentioned above.

Troubleshooting

This message means there’s an issue with the coil. Replacing the coil will resume proper function. If you purchased your coil less than 6 months ago, file a warranty claim for a replacement.

Ensure that the coil is properly secured to the nail. The arm of the coil should always be on top. If you have a hybrid nail, make sure the top nut is tightly secured so the coil is snug with the quartz dish.

This can be caused by either a coil or control box issue. If you are within the warranty period, file a claim and we will conduct testing to resolve the issue.

FAQs

A few tools are essential for dabbing: a rig, nail, carb cap, dabber, and heat source.

A nail connects to the rig, and is heated using the heat source.

Dabbers are used to apply your concentrate to the hot nail. While you might be tempted to use a makeshift tool made from household items, a dedicated tool makes everything easier and prevents wasting expensive concentrates

Low-temperature dabs, which preserve both the flavor profile and terpenes in your concentrates, typically occur around 600°F.

Identifying the exact temperature of your nail can be tricky, though-unless you have an eNail that allows you to set the temperature of your coil.

For more detailed information about the optimal temperature for dabbing, visit our Dabbing Temperature Guide.

Dabbing with an eNail removes the need for flammable gasses and an open flame. The coil is still hot, though, so it is important to practice caution when operating the eNail.

Yes, all styles of our compatible nails can be disconnected from the heating coil. Please allow ample time after use for the nail and coil to completely cool before touching either tools.

Our nails are made from Grade 2 titanium, a quality metal that retains heat and is safe for use.

The nail is the only element that should require cleaning, and can be done easily when removed from the heating coil. Simply unscrew the cap on the titanium nail, slide off the metal coil, and clean the nail using the techniques outlined here. Or, remove the quartz nail from the coil and soak in an iso solution or 420 cleaner.

We offer a one year warranty on the control box and a six month warranty on the coil. Both warranties protect against manufacturer defects only and do not apply to normal wear and tear or damage done by improper assembly, use or maintenance. You must provide the original receipt or confirmation email to initiate the claim, and may be required to pay postage fees to return items for testing. Don’t forget to register your warranty following your purchase.
