DAB CONTAINERS

If you’re still dabbing from parchment paper or the unsealed jars you get from the dispensary, you’re throwing your money out the window! These materials can cause your concentrates to degrade much faster since they don’t protect your precious cargo from moisture, sunlight, air, heat and the dreaded stick. However, investing in a few silicone containers can help keep them safe and protected from the elements, no matter how sticky they might be.

Our selection of large silicone containers and small silicone dab containers are the versatile choice of your dabbing setup. You can get any consistency of concentrate off of it or dab directly from the container with a nectar collector. Pair them with one of our dab tools and you’ll be ready for anything.

What are the different types of dab containers?

Choosing the best container for your concentrates is vitally important to protecting your concentrates from the elements, which keeps them tasting and feeling just right. Luckily, you have two options.

Silicone containers: Silicone wax containers are the most popular choice by far since they’re durable, affordable and always non-stick, so it’s easy to get every last drop of your concentrates into your banger. Since they’re opaque, they protect your dabs from light which helps prevent them from degrading. Additionally, silicone jars are heat and moisture-resistant, which protects them even further. The only downside to silicone containers for wax is that they aren’t completely airtight, so they’re best for short-term storage.

Glass containers: Glass containers are also pretty durable, but they can still be broken if you drop them. However, glass isn’t opaque and it doesn’t protect your concentrates from sunlight or heat. It also isn’t completely nonstick, as residue tends to be left over and dried on by the time you finish your dabs. Glass containers do have the added benefit of being airtight, though. They’re a good choice for longer-term storage as long as you keep your concentrates in a cool, dry, and dark place out of the sun.

With both options, you can dab from the container directly using a dab straw or nectar collector, if you so choose.

Are silicone dab containers heat resistant?

Silicone dab containers are heat resistant up to 572° F, meaning that they can protect your concentrates from the elements that cause your concentrates to break down. Since they’re light-proof, moisture-resistant, and stick-proof, using silicon containers to protect and store your dabs is the best way to preserve your concentrates and make sure you get every last drop — even in high temperatures.
