DABBERS

Dabbers are the tools of the trade when it comes to dabbing concentrates. They come in all different shapes and sizes and are specially designed to be used with whatever concentrates you like best while allowing you to handle them with minimal waste. Also known as dab tools or dab wands, there are different styles for every situation, based on the consistency of your concentrates.

With that in mind, it helps to have a whole dab tool set in your arsenal so that you’re properly prepared for every situation. Your dabbing tool will make all the difference in getting your concentrates safely from their packaging into your banger while preventing waste.

What is a dabber?

Dabbers are dab smoking tools used to get your concentrates safely from their container into your dab nail without risking a burn. They’re specially designed for each type of concentrate to help reduce waste and ensure you’re getting the most out of your concentrates every time.

What are dabber tools made from?

Typically, dab tools come in three main varieties: titanium, stainless steel, and glass. Each one is heat resistant and useful for getting your concentrates from point A to point B. However they do come with their own pros and cons. For example, glass dabbers look nice with your setup, but they’re more likely to break than others. Stainless steel and titanium are usually the go-to dabber tools because of their durability.

What are different dab tools for?

Each dab utensil is used with a different type of concentrate based on its consistency. For example, the best dab tool for crumbly wax is a scoop-style dabber, while harder concentrates like shatter will work best with dab picks. Below you’ll find all of the different types of dabbing tools along with each type of concentrate they’re best suited for.

  • Dab Scoops — Scoop dabbers are best for crumbly waxes, THC-a diamonds, live resin crystals, and other medium concentrates. You can use them to cut and scoop these concentrates before dropping them into your banger.
  • Dab Shovels — Dab shovels make for a great dab wax tool. They’re good for slicing softer, yet still formed concentrates and shoveling them into your banger. With that said, they’re some of the best dab tools for wax.
  • Dab Picks — Dab picks are ideal for hard concentrates like shatter. You can use a dab pick to pierce and crack hard concentrates and drop them into your banger.
  • Dab ClawsDab claws are used to remove hot ruby terp pearls from your banger after a dab. Use a dab claw to pick up the pearl and dunk it into some isopropyl alcohol for cleaning before your next dab.
  • Dab Spatulas — Spatula dabbers are best for loose, runny concentrates like sauce or live resin with few crystals. They’re ideal for concentrates you need to scoop and smear into your banger.

If you’re looking for cool dab tools, you can get each of the styles we mentioned above made from glass, titanium, or stainless steel with all sorts of designs on them. We even offer pin and paperclip-shaped dab tools made from titanium. You can use them to personalize your dabbing setup.

How do you use wax dabbers?

To use your dab utensils, you’ll select the right tool for the type of concentrate you’re using. Then you can use the tool to carve out the ideal sized dab and scoop it onto the dab tool. Once your banger is preheated and ready to go, you’ll use the tool to apply the concentrate directly to the bottom of your banger. When you’re done with your dab, you can use a bit of isopropyl alcohol and a paper towel to wipe away any excess dab residue left behind. This protects your concentrates from getting mixed up with old stuff that has potentially picked up lint or fuzz between sessions.
